Ho Chi Minh City iii

After arriving back in Ho Chi Minh City from Củ Chi, we headed out for food.



So much cheaper than the dinner on the first night 25 000₫ (AUD $1.50).
Our mission on the last full day in Ho Chi Minh City was to eat phở. We had ummed and ahhed about it up until that point as the idea of eating a hot soup-based meal in 35 degrees was a little unappealing. But when in Vietnam!




We headed out to a new area of the city via a super trendy barber where S got a "hipster" haircut for $4 AUD. Close to the canal (?), we spotted a small vendor selling phở for 25 000₫ (AUD $1.50). It was incredibly filling, boiling hot and probably full of MSG. But the owners were so lovely and it was great to eat at a local joint.
